New Tragedy in Egypt .. 3 Dead and 51 Injured in Horrific Collision

Al-Taj News – Three Egyptians were killed and 51 others were injured in a horrific collision between a bus and a transport vehicle on the “Dabaa–Rod El Farag Axis” road in the north of the country.

The relevant authorities received a report of a collision between the two vehicles at kilometer 10 of the road. A number of ambulances were dispatched to provide the necessary medical care and take the required measures.

The relevant authorities went to the accident site to deal with its aftermath, clear its effects from the road, and restore traffic flow, in addition to taking legal measures regarding the incident and notifying the Public Prosecution to begin investigations into the causes and circumstances of the collision.

The injured were transported to hospitals for treatment, while the bodies were taken to the morgue.

The accident comes just days after a tragic accident in a nearby area last Tuesday, in which nine people were killed and eight others injured as a result of a collision involving three vehicles on the Dabaa Axis road near the Ras El Hekma area in Matrouh Governorate, northwestern Egypt.

Another tragic accident had also sparked widespread grief across the country after 19 workers were killed and 28 others injured on the Al-Dawawis road in Ismailia, one of the deadliest road accidents in recent times.
